April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 In seventh grade she began playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons, sparking her passion for songwriting. April's very first song was called Different. She wrote it when she was 12 years old. When she was 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her musical skills. Then she began to take trips to write with her father in NY and LA. April added other themes to the tune "Take My Hand" to help her acquaintances who faced problems like peer pressure, problems, as well as teenage suicide. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle blogger and working in partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia and YSL, has cultivated her own following. The disability she has is part of her identity, but it is not the whole picture. Lockhart's Instagram account doesn't ignore the fact that she has a disability. However, it doesn't insist on it. It's a reminder. We are all more than the physical person we are. Our identities are complicated and we contain many different aspects. I do not want this to define me I don't intend to become an influencer in which I only talk about because there are so many other things about my life. Lockhart says via video from her home in Nashville. It doesn't impact my daily life. I still do all the things I normally would and have adjusted to my disability. Since it's a part of who I am It's a topic worthy of discussion. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that can last a lifetime, but she has been a source of inspiration with regard to this. However, she admits that she has had periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance, and the clothes that showed her arms. It's her choice to wear what she wants, and she is proud to share photos of herself dressed in her favorite outfits. Self-love, she says, is a process. "I do not think that you'll ever get in that place," she said. It's the same for everybody regardless of their insecurity. It's essential to surround yourself with people who are able to discern and understand your heart.
